My name is Les Gibson and I live in Dunedin.
My lifelong passion and hobby, is to find and carve the Earth’s treasures to enhance the beauty, and tell the story found in rocks.
The Earth is full of wonderful geological forms and these can be revealed through observation, collecting and carving into treasures that can be worn to show your oneness with our planet.
I enjoy working with our local rocks like greenstone, petrified wood and rhodonite and I offer my work to you to treasure and enjoy.
I ethically source all the materials I work with. With the appropriate permission, I collect rock from various locations within the Otago and Southland areas. I also source Greenstone from public auctions and old private collections.
