My hand made sheepskin slippers provide you with comfy-soft yet durable footwear made from twin-faced Sheepskin.
I use high quality materials, locally sourced where possible, with clean minimal designs that have stood the test of time.
A piece of twin-face sheepskin has been treated on both sides of the fleece. On the wool side it's clipped evenly for a plush fibre, and on the skin side it's tanned to a soft suede material. This is often called Shearling in some countries.
Sheepskin is a genuine slow fashion material that can be a staple in everyone's wardrobe. It's hypoallergenic, reduces static electricity, is fire retardant and is biodegradable. Wool-skins are a product of sustainable farming practices and are manufactured using the closed loop system in the tanning process.
Sheepskin has been worn for centuries, by many different cultures and cherished through generations. Wool offers a sumptuous softness and tactile appeal.
The fibres stay clean and naturally retain their shape. Sheepskin wicks away moisture adjusting to the climate, being warm in winter and cool in summer.
