ON THE HOOF SOCKS
Hand knitted wool socks (with a hint of nylon to stop them wearing out too fast).
The wool used is often variegated rather than plain colours though plain socks can be done too. I am happy to custom-make socks – just let me know what you want. Be aware that colours often cannot be repeated because of the availability of wool. I can make them any size from very small to fairly large.
KNITTED CLOTHING FOR CHILDREN
I enjoy knitting small things – bootees, hats, small jerseys. Once again, I am happy to knit to order.
COLOURFUL COTTON CLOTHS - biodegradable
Ten-ply cotton makes wonderfully thick and absorbent cloths – facecloths, dishcloths. I get very bored knitting all in one colour so I ring the changes. However, if you have a specific colour or set of colours in mind just let me know what you want and I’ll be happy to oblige. This range extends to make-up remover pads, wash pockets and soap saver bags.
RAG RUGS
Fully washable, made of found fabrics. These rugs vary massively in colour and size as well as shape, though they tend to be round or oval. They can be made to order, covering either a base colour scheme or a size.
WOOL
I stock a range of pure NZ wool; the bulk of it is 8 ply and I stock 4 ply sock yarn which is mixed with nylon so any socks made last longer.

SWEEt cheeks
Sweet Cheeks Dunedin is a group of sisters that have a passion for sewing and knitting children’s clothing.
We have size ranges of 0 – 5 yrs but have made specific orders for older children on request. We love the interaction with our customers new and old and market events are key to our success. We have introduced a range of crocheted toys that are cute and “cuddle worthy”.
Our range include knitted jumpers, cardigans etc, sewn clothing including dresses, pants, jackets, coats, pants, art jackets, tights and many more.

Everything I make is "made with love" and use 100% New Zealand wool in my knitting and 100% cotton in most fabric products, leather is top quality and wears very well.
