The Adventures of Angel-Louise & Friends
Julie Fawcett is a qualified Librarian with over 15 years professional experience. She has been passionate about children’s literature for years, which is the reason the book series was started in 2012. A child’s life is enriched through the magic of books which inspires their little imaginations. Books also give children a foundation for life. A series of books about her life and her friends as told by the Author and "Angel-Louise" herself. Our Facebook page is where the children get to see Angel-Louise and read all about her activities. She has many friends , but the two main characters are ‘Mia’ and ‘George’. The children have the opportunity to talk (snail mail or e-mail) to the characters and they will always respond to your child.
What is different about these books is the author invites members of the community to become characters in her stories. The children can identify with them and even talk to them when they see them in the street. Those community members stay in character long after the books are published, much to the delight of the children and their parents.
Four of the ‘Friends’ are real and ‘Angel-Louise’ is a real Samoyed dog faithfully portrayed by ‘CH Lealsam Kiwi Fall’ (aka Autumn). The children regularly see ‘Angel-Louise’ out and about when she visits schools, kindergartens and child care centres. The author has previously written ‘Christmas in my New Home’, (2014) Book 1 & ‘Merlin’s Magical Door to Nowhere’ (2015) Book 2 in the series from ‘The Adventures of Angel-Louise & Friends’. Train trip across the Mountains was released in 2017 and is the third book in the series. Julie hopes to release more books in the series in the coming years.
