Atelier Royale
At Atelier Royale, our handmade hats for men and women are made using quality natural straw and wool felt. These unique hats are formed on a vintage gas-fired French millinery press and antique wooden hat blocks. My philosophy is slow fashion and mindful artisan production, crafting each hat individually so that no two look alike, resulting in a quality style statement. We want you to fall in love with your hat.
I have been making hats for the last seven years and crafting fashion and wearable art for as long as I can remember.
I have won both The Hokonui Fashion Awards and the Central Otago WoolOn Fashion Awards and my bespoke race day fashion hats continue to win sashes.
